If you’ve been following along for a while, you probably know that I got married last month. It was by far the best weekend of my life. I was surrounded by friends and family the whole time and now I’m officially a part of #TeamGruenwaldForLife.

Since it was such an incredible weekend, I’ve got to share the moments with my Fam’! Keep scrolling to learn about my five favorite moments and see some incredible pictures captured by the one and only Sherah Grose. 

1. The morning of the wedding started as most mornings do... I over slept! (In my defense it was a busy week 😂) My rockstar sister Rachael picked me up and naturally I was scrambling a bit. Finally we got the car loaded up and arrived at Cantigny’s cottage for hair and make up. Once we unloaded the car, we realized we forgot something rather important… all the flowers. Fortunately our venue was just 10 minutes from home, so Rachael saved the day by picking up the flowers while I sipped a mimosa 😊 

2.  Bryant and I were so lucky to get married at Cantigny in Wheaton IL. I worked at the golf course for 10 years, and at one point, both my sisters and my dad actually worked for me there. When we had a few spare minutes, Sherah snapped some amazing shots of us with the Cantigny flag. The truth is Cantigny will always hold a small piece of my heart, and these photos are something I’ll treasure forever 💜💜

3. I wasn’t expecting walking down the aisle to be a particularly memorable moment, but when I turned the corner with my dad and saw so many people I loved… that moment was priceless. Knowing that all of these incredible people were there to celebrate with us and will be there to support us in the future, I couldn’t keep that massive grin off my face 🤩

4. As the sun was setting our photographer spotted the perfect, glowy light and we snuck away from the reception to snag a few sunset shots on the golf course. I’m obsessed with the lighting! Plus, my job for 10 years was maintaining the golf course, so getting a few photos there was so special.

5. I’m cheating a bit on number 5, but they say the bride gets to do what she wants. So I’m claiming the entire weekend as one of my top 5 moments. From Friday morning, through Sunday night, I was surrounded by some of the people I love the most. Friday included lunch with my sisters & mom, mani, pedis, and my bachelorette party which featured the best people, mini golf, delicious food, and silly games. Saturday was packed with an extended family breakfast, last minute details and of course the rehearsal. And the wedding day went by so fast! Between getting ready, photos, ceremony, and reception, I don’t think I stopped smiling the entire weekend!
